   EARLY ACTION ADMISSION PLAN

All  seniors are invited to participate in our Early Action Admission Plan.  Due to the overwhelming response of Early Action Applications, we are extending the deadline date to October 31, 2008.  If your application is received by October 31, you will receive an admission decision by November 15, 2008.  The Early Action Application is a non-binding document. As an early applicant you will receive preferential class registration, you will also get a special limited edition Lyon College sling backpack.  You can now go to the following link  Financial Aid Estimator so you can see just how affordable Lyon College can be for you.

Remember, the Early Action Application deadline has been extended to October 31, 2008.

All persons who wish to enroll at Lyon must submit a completed application  to and be accepted for admission by the enrollment services office. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, which means that applicants can ordinarily expect an admission decision within one week of the submission of their completed application.  Applicants should complete the application process by January 15 to be assured of full consideration for Lyon’s merit-based scholarship programs. The final application deadline for all students from the United States is one week prior to the first day of the academic session for the fall, spring, and summer terms.

[Note: due to expanded Federal requirements for processing international student visas, the application deadline for international students is four months prior to the first day of the academic session for the fall, spring, and summer terms.] Other special application requirements for international students are listed below.
